New CD

The Adam Douglass Trio is a powerful resonance of sound coming from three creative and energetic artists bringing a fresh sense of inspiration and creativity to the the audience at large. The group combines the mature influences like Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, John Mclaughlin with the illusory phantasmagoria of groups like Medeski, Martin & Wood, Wayne Krantz, and Uri Caine. As ecclecticly influenced musicians tend to be influenced from seemingly everything that makes a sound, the length of their musical influence roster prints like the list of parket tickets for Jerry Seinfeld. The group comes out of Boston, MA, and released their first cd, SEERSUCKER, in late 2006. During the past few years members of the band have been touring with the trio in the New England area. The Adam Douglass Trio's much anticipated release, Strawberry, is due to embellish more of the delicious grooves, rockin' rhythms, and imbibing solos which establish the band's niche in musical entertainment.
